APPEALS SUB COMMITTEE TERMS OF REFERENCE

1.1          To hear and determine any appeals made by a Statutory Officer in respect of any disciplinary action taken against them by the Council, with the exception of where the Council has made a decision to dismiss that officer.

1.2          To hear and determine any appeal regarding disciplinary action taken against any Strategic Director or Head of Service.

1.3          To hear and determine any appeal relating to a grievance raised by or against a Statutory Officer or a Strategic Director or Head of Service.

1.4          To hear appeals of any decision raised by a statutory officer or a non-statutory Strategic Director or Head of Service relating to a decision made by the Employment Committee outside any grievance or disciplinary process.
