To confirm and sign the minutes of the meeting held on 25 March 2021 (copy attached).

The open and exempt minutes of the meeting held on 25 March 2021 were agreed and would be signed by the Chairman at the next opportunity.

The Committee was reminded that, at its previous meeting, it had considered a new Records Management Policy and had deferred the adoption of the policy pending clarification on a document storage solution for Members. It was reported that the Policy had been updated to remove reference to Members in order to clarify that it was only applicable to staff; a review of ICT practices and document storage solutions for Members would be conducted separately.

RESOLVED that the Management Policy, as set out at Annex A to the agenda report, be adopted.

The Committee is advised to RESOLVE that, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the ground that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as set out below:

The Committee reviewed the reports which had been considered at the meeting following the exclusion of members of the press and public, as it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information.

RESOLVED that the decision at minute 50/EC and the associated agenda report remain exempt for the present time, to be reviewed on a six-monthly basis.
